Dry Stone Walling in South Yorkshire

As the South Yorkshire branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA), we are dedicated to maintaining the art of Dry Stone Walling within South Yorkshire, and ensuring it plays a role into the future in both rural and urban environments.

Our branch is composed of both amateur and professional wallers.

Our Aims:

  • Maintain our craft as a living tradition by running courses and events,
  • Enhance skill levels via the DSWA/LANTRA system of examinations,
  • Promote contacts between wallers and community organisations,
  • Participate in charity events.
